CPAA - Manitoba Branch
Supporting Manitoba's Postmasters & Assistants
About CPAA Manitoba
The CPAA Manitoba Branch exists to support the people who keep postal services running in rural Manitoba communities.
We work alongside the national association while focusing on the needs, concerns, and communication of members within Manitoba. Our goal is to make sure members have access to clear information, helpful resources, and local support.

Notice to all Postmasters
This website is for people who work in and support Canada Post offices across Manitoba.
Subject: Maintaining Office Operations
This notice serves as a reminder and directive regarding office operations during lunches, breaks and Saturday hours.
All efforts must be made to ensure postal services available to the public during posted business hours. This includes but is not limited to:
-
Utilizing relief staff or arranging temporary coverage whenever possible
-
Communicating with your Area or District Office for operational support
-
Filling available hours, even if it causes use of overtime, where staff are willing to work.
If you are facing an extreme staffing shortage and believe an office closure may be unavoidable, or if you have been instructed by CPC to close during these time, please contact your CPAA Branch immediately. Unauthorized closures may be subject to review and further action.
Our priority remains to serve the community reliably and uphold the integrity of our services.
Thank you for your cooperation.
